Welcome to the Weasel Network!
The Weasel Network is a collection of websites with a similar goal in mind: to share their interests, work and passion with the world. The Network itself helps give websites a home, and a place where they can share what they want to without the sometimes overdue stress that comes with owning a website. We post updates when new articles are created on each site so that fans, viewers or listeners of the Network can always keep up with the latest on any site. Anyone who has a website and is interested in sharing it with other people are more than welcome to join the Weasel Network, and requests to join can be made from the Contact page. The Weasel Report is a journalism, editorial and creative writing site which was created by Weasel Terrahawk in early 2008. It started as a personal weblog, but over time quickly grew so that in 2009 it became it’s own site, and became regularly updated from there. The Weasel Report contains journalism topics of all caliber, from video games to politics. Articles from it have been featured on other websites and guest writers are always welcome to share their own knowledge or opinions with the world as well.
Weasel Radio, in one form or another, has been alive and on the Internet since 2005, but went solo with it’s own website and server in 2009. Weasel Radio has been dedicated to serving the listeners with the music that they want to hear, and in the past has been the production company for a virtual world radio show. Currently, Weasel Radio is looking to get more into the podcasting and live talk show formats instead, and together with audience interaction, is looking to take over the podcasting stations such as iTunes and Zune with their popular podcasts. Shows can be heard live if a server is acquired, or as a recorded show for future listening at any time.
Magic: the Gathering Ablaze is a site dedicated to improving your game. It is run by Ashling & a few other dedicated Magic players who combined have over 20 years of playing. From new players of Magic to long-time veterans from the realm of Alpha, there’s something to help all players. Basic deck construction tips are offered, as well as simple combos in hopes of helping new players feel more in control of their learning. More complicated strategies are described, as well as tournament play for the veterans. All platforms of the game are covered: Magic Online, “paper” Magic & Duels of the Planeswalkers. News is posted about major tournaments, new sets & updates to the game. It’s the place to ignite your passion & ignite your game.
The Insight Expo is a brand new idea for an exposition event which is to take place in 2012. We are currently not releasing many details about the event as we have not been able to confirm anything yet. The main purpose of this expo is to bring people together to be more open, to allow people to share their life experiences with others, to have people share what they want to do and hopefully to get them to follow their dreams. Due to it’s grand scale, and potentially grand cost, we are trying to iron out more details before we release much in the way of the website. We hope that we can reveal more solid information in the year 2012, with the expo happening in the same year.
Traydmark is a revolutionary new website idea, which we hope will change the way that the world uses the Internet in the aspect of social networking and social media. As of now, we are unable to release any new information about the site as we are still in search of the necessary staff, but we plan on having more details in the coming future. We have put a temporary site in place which is currently just a placeholder until we have more to share. Within are also details on what we are looking for, so if you think you are qualified to help us create the site, please apply. We are hoping to release more details about the purpose of the site, and show you more about what the site will look like in 2012.
Year of the Weasel is a website which explains what Weasel has planned for making the year 2012 a year to remember. Taking after the idea of the Chinese zodiac, Weasel wants to declare that 2012 will be the year of the Weasel, and plans on making it a landmark year for everyone. Between raising awareness for peoples’ talents, and holding events that can change the world for people, there is something for everyone in 2012. We currently do not have any information to share on the plans for 2012, but stay tuned as we hope to be able to give more solid details starting in early 2012.
